It is funny that different regions of the world have different names for '"plaid". I've always thought that tartans were plaid, but the New Englander in me wants to call the your husbands shirt pattern a gingham. (I am thinking the names definitely have to be regional.)Sarah Gracehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12446219619676977090noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4758165582143652641.post-7126494637556820002013-12-23T04:58:06.820-08:002013-12-23T04:58:06.820-08:00Holiday greetings from Munfordville! From it I made a patchwork tartan coat for my 4 yr old daughter and an outfit for my Cairn Terrier. I used them for everything! Since then it seems tartans went out of vogue. So glad you are using them. Maybe this is the beginning of a revival of interest in this wonderful fabric. I hope so.

Loved your pics of you and Matt. You must make your Bichon a tartan outfit to coordinate!

Best wishes for a fabulous 2014! Maybe I'll have to break down and sew one next year.Lisa @ Fern Creek Cottagehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00287545465263466560noreply@blogger.com
