Client In-Progress Kitchen

Hey there! I know I promised I was going to have the reveal of MY finished (rental) kitchen....but I got an e-mail from a client with pictures of a project I've been working on since December that I just HAD to share with you! I am just too darn excited! This was a job that I started in California and that we have continued working on via e-mails and phone calls.
My client Julie is a fabulous cake designer from Northern, Ca. She is the only person I use for any of my cakes, she sure is amazing. I have had the pleasure of working with her on two of her homes and love her gorgeous taste and fine craftsmanship. She makes designing extra fun and it is always so exciting to see the rooms unfold into what we had dreamed about.
Before:
 In-Progress
We still need to add accessories, hardware and will be adding a black island with a marble counter top.

The marble herringbone back-splash came out exactly how we hoped and having it go all the way to the ceiling adds major dramatic impact.

Now, I have to show you some the incredible work she has done for me....
Above is my fabulous wedding cake, not only beautiful, but delicious!
If you are interested in one of her fine cakes e-mail Julie at
juliakmyers@sbcglobal.net
I can't wait to add the finishing touches to Miss Julie's kitchen and show you the rest of her home that she has been working so hard on!
Thank you for checking it out!

  7. Beautiful!! I'm a sucker for white cabinetry, clean, bright, and timeless. When we moved into our house, we had no kitchen...literally, the previous owners took the cabinets and sold them (it was a foreclosure home) I got to design my kitchen cabinet layout and style. For some reason I chose a dark wood, and now I want to paint it white. my living room and kitchen doesn't get that much light, and I have a ton of dark cabinets so that doesn't help. Someday I'll get around to painting them white. In the meantime, I'll drool over yours :)

    1. White is lovely and really does lighten things up! Can you add white accents ie: dishes, curtain etc to lighten things up a bit!? Heather, everything you do is amazing, you have stellar taste and are VERY talented! I bet it looks awesome! I'd love to see pics!!

    2. There are so many cabinets, and they go all the way to the ceiling. Fortunately Ryan's uncle is a professional painter, so someday I'll have him paint them. There are before and after pictures on my facebook page, I think under the album "Meuer Acres".
