That's right...You heard me... I stumbled across this awesome product through Pinterest and I had to share it with you all! It is perfect for those who own or rent, it's easy, affordable and removable! Awesomeness! I am going to have to use this in my rental since I plan on staying here a while, but don't want to mess up what my landlord already has! Yipee! check the site out for more info!
This product is perfect for those of us who change our minds frequently...ahem...moi.
Click here to see what options Smart Tiles has! By the way... I am not getting paid to promote this (although I should be)... I just thought it was pretty majestic!
Ciao!

  1. I've used the stainless steal version ( a little pricey ) but a great fix!!!
And the best part is just cutting them with scissors unlike real tile!

    2. I would love to put this in my rental kitchen, but I live in the United States, and just concerned about doing business in another country....and I have to check how much the shipping cost would be, but this is a fantastic solution..

  3. Molly, did you find any of this in the German stores? I'm also living in Germany. Stationed at Spangdahlem. I don't like how my back wall of the counters looks. Too old fashion for my taste.

    1. Hey there! When I went to the site I did see that it was available in France! I saw a store in Strasbourg had it! you could also have it shipped to your home or APO address. If you are stationed here for a while it would e worth a little bit of money to get rid of an eyesore... Some of the homes here are crazy looking! Let me know how it works for you!

  4. These may just be life changers! I've been wanting a backsplash in my kitchen for as long as we've owned our home, but we hesitated to spend the money hiring someone to do it (we aren't quite that brave at this juncture). This is the perfect solution!

  5. This is awesome! I would love to change my backsplash, but having it removed, with all the dust that would bring, gives me nightmare. Maybe this could just go over it?

  6. I wasn't aware of these! Like Sarah above, I've been wanting a backsplash in my kitchen, but my husband and I aren't too handy and we didn't want to pay someone to do this! I will be buying these...

    1. We didn't end up doing this in our barn because we are only here for another year and a half... If our landlords decide to pay for it then I will definitely let you know it turns out!

  10. these are NOT removable! they are permanent. it says so right on their website. it's deceiving to say you can change your mind. no, you cannot. once they're on the wall that's it unless you want to pull off paint and pieces of wall when prying them back off. NOT removable!

    1. Hello, the Smart Tiles are removable and not permanent. To ease the removal, directly heat (with a hairdryer) the tiles long enough to soften the adhesive and start peeling off from corners. It's with little to no damage on the wall, depending on the surface where it was installed. If you change your mind, you can remove. Please visit www.thesmarttiles.com for more info...
      Thank you.
