When I work hard on a wreath, I would like it to last more than three or four weeks... Can I get an "AMEN"!? This winter season, I have decided to make any season wreaths, that look snowy and white for Christmas, but will also look stupendous throughout spring, summer and fall!
Grab a glass of champagne or a cup of coffee, an old wire hanger and some burlap, and join me in making a simple wreath! If you're someone who is feeling a bit lazy and or frugal, this is the perfect project for you!
And admire your hard work (a.k.a. your mad skillz)!
Enjoy your day, Crafty McCraftertons!
How pretty,I love it!! I made a similar one using the leftovers of my coffee sack :)
ReplyDeleteYours is too cool! I love it!
DeleteSo cute, and looks simple to make, although with me, step #3 will begin from the very beginning, and it stays on all day :(
ReplyDeleteHah yeah i had to take them off and shower when I was done.. I sure hate how itchy it is!
DeleteBeautiful wreath! I love it on that cool shutter!
ReplyDeleteWhy thank you so much Lisa! I really appreciate it!
DeleteAMEN! However I read your post in the morning with a cup of coffee and not a glass of wine. I love your blog and promise to one day read it with a glass of wine and some good cheese. That beautiful wreath looks like it could be up for every season.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad you like it! I shall be leaving it for all seasons! Do enjoy a glass for me... I post at night in one part of the world which is am for another..:) I like to drink both at the same time!
DeleteRight when I read grab a cup of coffee, I quickly obeyed, and am now typing this with piping hot coffee next to me! :) This is SO adorable!!! I haven't been able to get my hands on burlap here in the Great North, but when I do, I'm doing this!!
ReplyDeleteYay! You are too cute! you have to try making this! Let me know how it works for ya! xo
DeleteI have to get more burlap and now I'll get more than I planned because I so want to make one, yours is so pretty on that neat shutter exactly where I'll be putting mine when I make it!
ReplyDeleteThank you! Yes it does take a bit of burlap maybe 1-2 yards depending on the size of wreath you make. I wish you luck and know it will turn out great!
DeleteOh thank you so much for posting this! I didn't want to do the traditional wreath, and this would be perfect! Cheers!
ReplyDeleteThank you so much Natalie! I love un-traditional wreaths as well! I have more I am going to be working on as well! the less work throughout the seasons the better! I hope you are enjoying your holiday!
